Project Update:

Eventful week! This week’s report is a consolidation of this past week and the week prior (ending 8/6).

    Activity – Weeks Ending 8/6 & 8/13

    Plumbing & Electrical Groundwork wrapped up, was inspected and passed for slab pour

    Water and Sewer Lines were put in, inspected and signed off for backfill

    Slab insulation and vapor barrier was installed in preparation for slab pour.

    Thickened footings were prepared for final slab pour

    City of Seattle signed off on all preparation for slab pour

    Slabs poured and saw cut for expansion joints.

    North side of property (between retaining wall and shoring blocks filled in and compacted with structural fill

    First lumber drop took place (NOTE: Our entire package dropped from $160k to $116k – great news!)

    Framing crew mobilized and have begun with mud sills and laying out walls

    Structural HW was placed onsite for the first floor

    Recycling container onsite and will remain throughout the job (Built Green Approved Vendor)

    Started conversation with Painting Contractor to handle interior and exterior

    Week Ending 8/20

    Framing to continue (for the next 6 weeks)

    Second lumber drop scheduled for Tuesday

    Dirtwork to continue with backfill – Machine will be delivered onsite – Monday

    Cabinetry refinement and pricing to continue

    HVAC bid refinement – still outstanding and needs to be refined

    Electrical sub will refine estimate based on engineering plans – still outstanding

    Kick off Unit Lot Subdivision

    Start process for Water and Gas Metering

    Contracts:

    Framing contract executed

    Roofing contract executed

    Siding contract executed

    Masonry contract executed

    Windows Ordered – 2-part delivery – September & October

    Plumbing contract executed
